Qdoba hires former Applebee's exec

Qdoba hired Kevin Carroll, the former COO of Applebee's, to serve as chief operating officer. He will oversee the brand's nearly 800 restaurants.

"Kevin is a truly exceptional leader and one of the most respected operators in the restaurant industry. I've worked alongside Kevin for many years, and I know first-hand the invaluable leadership and partnership he'll bring to the Qdoba brand."
With four consecutive years of growth, Qdoba plans to double the size of its footprint to over 1,600 restaurants over the next decade.

For the past seven years, Carroll has been COO for Applebee's Grill & Bar. He has also served as SVP of Operations for Chili's Grill & Bar.
