PYT Burger teams up with Fransmart for franchising growth

Philadelphia's PYT Burger has partnered with franchise development company Fransmart to expand the brand through franchising.

Philadelphia's PYT Burger has partnered with franchise development company Fransmart to expand the brand through franchising.

"We were doing daily radio and television interviews everywhere from New Zealand to Saudi Arabia to the national morning shows and we knew it was time to take the PYT show on the road," said Tommy Up, who owns PYT with Sarah Brown, in a company press release. "When we saw that Fransmart was behind many of the current cutting edge fast casual restaurants, we knew they were the perfect partner."

The brand has been a frequent feature on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Rachael Ray Show, The Chew and Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update with Seth Meyers.

"The brand has already made a name for itself, and differentiated itself in a crowded restaurant segment. The hard part is done, and the easy part is fulfilling demand in the markets where consumers are already demanding PYT's presence," said Fransmart CEO Dan Rowe.
