Potbelly Sandwich Shop plans first Arkansas location

Potbelly Sandwich Shop has signed an agreement to open its first Arkansas location. The restaurant is expected to open this summer in Little Rock’s Park Avenue shopping center at 314 S. University Avenue, in the Midtown area.

Ryan Hamra is the new sandwich shop’s operating partner, along with his business partner, Mark Needler.

“Ryan, Mark and their team are an ideal addition to the Potbelly family. We are thrilled with their excitement for the shop,” Mike Walters, head of franchise development, said in a news release. “Every new sandwich shop is designed to resemble the community it resides in. Ryan and Mark have the deep-rooted community connections Potbelly looks for when choosing franchise partners.”
