Potbelly Sandwich Shop opened its second shop in Omaha and its third in Louisville, Kentucky, in December.
Both units feature toasty-warm sandwiches, made-to-order salads, hand-dipped milkshakes and live local music, according to a company press release.
The Omaha unit is a 3,000-square-foot shop located along one of city’s busiest streets at 7425 Dodge St. All three Potbelly locations in Louisville are owned and operated by local residents John Vinci and Marcus Eddy, including the downtown shop at 302 S. Fourth St., and an East End location in the Paddock Shops.
"We are very pleased to open our third Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Louisville," said Vinci. "We are now able to serve our friends, neighbors and members of the community in the downtown, East End and J-Town areas. Louisville residents do not have to travel very far to find Potbelly's sandwiches and shakes," Vinci said.
