Potbelly adds Zapp's potato chips to offerings
June 1, 2009
CHICAGO — Potbelly Sandwich Works is having a "Free Chip Celebration" on June 3 to introduce its new side offering: Zapp's potato chips.
On June 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., almost all Potbelly locations are giving away a free bag of Zapp's potato chips with the purchase of any sandwich.
Ron Zappe has been making Zapp's for the past 25 years with his original Cajun kettle recipe that gives Zapp's chips a zesty flavor. Zapp's are cooked one batch at a time in peanut oil resulting in a kettle chip that has no trans fat or cholesterol.
Zapp's Potato Chips are available at all Potbelly locations except for Philadelphia and New Jersey stores.
