Potbelly adds 2 Virgina units

Potbelly Sandwich Shop has opened two franchise shops in Virginia — one in Charlottesville and one in Richmond — which join 25 others in the state, according to a company press release.

"We're thrilled to open new locations in Charlottesville and Richmond," Franchisee David Duke said in the release. "It is an honor to bring good vibes and great sandwiches to folks. We know they'll love our tasty sandwiches, salads, shakes, cookies and more." He and his business partner, Jay Clark, have a combined 35 years of restaurant industry experience and own a third Potbelly Sandwich Shop in the Richmond area.

Potbelly has more than 450 units in the U.S.
