Portillo's, serving Chicago-style street food, will celebrate a significant corporate milestone on Nov. 18, with the grand opening of its 100th restaurant in Kennesaw, marking the brand's entry into the state of Georgia.
The nearly 6,250-square-foot building features the brand's updated "Restaurant of the Future" design, which emphasizes efficiency with a dining room for more than 125 guests, an outdoor patio and the chain's signature double drive-thru lanes, according to a company press release.
The official ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 18, followed by the restaurant's public opening at 10 a.m.
