Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage launches franchise plans

Chicago's Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage has launched a franchising plan to expand its footprint across the country. The chain has just 14 existing shops, but Kacie Radochonski, director of operations, believes the brand is poised for growth.

"Our stores are running at peak performance and we have an extremely talented team in place. The time is now to advance our growth," Radochonski said in a company press release. "When we take a step back and look at what we've created during the better part of the past four decades, it's clear that Pop's is more than a great restaurant. It commands a following that draws in loyal ambassadors who want to be part of what we stand for as a company."

Pop's has a commitment to high-quality menu items and impeccable service, Radochonski said. Its signature Italian beef and sausage sandwiches, for example, are topped with fresh cheeses and hand-cut veggies, and items, including its all-beef hot dog and fries, Hot Giardiniera and cooked sweet peppers, are made in house.  

"As we grow we'll never lose the touch that got us here…it's our commitment to extraordinary customer experience coupled with the best menu items among our competition," Radochonski said. "We've made believers out of our fans for many, many years. It takes meticulous focus and that's just how we'll continue to reach the goals we've set for the business."
