Ponko Chicken opening sixth unit

Ponko Chicken, based in Atlanta, is adding its sixth franchise to the Georgia food scene inside the Lenox Square Dining Pavilion at 3393 Peachtree Road NE, according to a company press release.

The brand, founded in 2017, will occupy the former Taziki's space, offering its Japanese-fusion menu of chicken tenders, salads, tacos and sandwiches. The opening date will be some time this year.

"We are extremely happy to be in Lenox Square and to be working with Simon Property Group," Patrick Sallarulo, Ponko chairman and CEO said in the release. "This is our first shopping center and we could not be more excited or proud that we are able to work alongside an Atlanta trademark, like Lenox Square. We are very much looking forward to serving this community with our outstanding product.”
