Less than 20 months after opening its first Texas restaurant in Addison, Pollo Tropical is expanding its presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to 12 locations this fall. Four upcoming DFW openings, including the company's first location within Dallas city limits on Greenville Avenue, just south of Lovers Lane, will bring the statewide total to 23, according to a company press release.
'Our expansion into Texas, and particularly the Dallas-Fort Worth area, has been very successful, and we have big plans for 2016 as well," said Pollo Tropical COO Danny Meisenheimer. "We have two additional area locations that will open early next year in Richardson and Southlake, with more restaurants throughout the state to open later in 2016."
The new DFW restaurants will feature Pollo Tropical's new Caribbean-style design that incorporates bright island colors and details to help guests soak up the feel of a shore side retreat while enjoying handmade, island-inspired cuisine.
The 3,400-square-foot restaurants will be open from 10:30 a.m. to midnight daily, and will feature indoor and outdoor seating for more than 90 guests, with limited table service and a convenient drive-thru. Guests can receive a coupon for either a buy one, get one free small TropiChop or $3 off a family meal by signing up for the Pollo Reward$ loyalty program, according to the release.
The restaurants are actively recruiting for all positions and plan to hire more than 160 hourly team members combined. Applications can be submitted here, according to the release.
