Pollo Tropical offering freebies for chicken fans

National Chicken Lover’s Day is Sept. 15 and Pollo Tropical is celebrating with a free meal between 2 to 7 p.m. for guests who dress like a chicken and cluck for the cashier.

National Chicken Lover’s Day is Sept. 15 and Pollo Tropical is celebrating with a free meal between 2 to 7 p.m. for guests who dress like a chicken and cluck for the cashier.  The free meal includes a quarter chicken meal with rice and beans.

The promotion is being held at Pollo Tropical’s Gulf Coast, Central and North Florida locations, as well as its Georgia, Tennessee and Texas restaurants.

“There are a lot of people who love Pollo Tropical and this is our sixth year to give them a unique way to help us celebrate National Chicken Lover’s Day,” Director of Marketing Sandra Pascual said in a news release “We like to have fun with our guests, and you’d be surprised how many people get into it.”
