Pokeworks, which has 73 locations in 20 U.S. states, Taiwan and Canada, has partnered with Qu, a provider of cloud-based unified commerce solutions, to upgrade its point-of-sale system and increase operational efficiency as it looks to expand.
Kasper Hsu, co-founder and head of IT at Pokeworks, said the company sought a partner that could "future-proof operations while supporting the success of franchisees."
"Qu's ability to seamlessly integrate with emerging technologies and provide real-time operational control made it the clear choice," he said in a company press release.
Qu's unified commerce platform, which is designed to offer scalability and integration capabilities, features a triple redundant platform for 99.99% uptime, centralized menu control for franchisees and a certified integration ecosystem with over 100 providers for loyalty, labor, payments and gift cards.
As part of the partnership, Pokeworks will utilize Qu's Notify, a mobile app that provides store managers and franchisees with real-time performance data, alerts, and insights via voice or chat.
"Pokeworks is growing quickly, and we're focused on helping them scale with more efficient, connected operations," Amir Hudda, Qu CEO, said in the release. "We built Qu to give restaurant operators and franchisees flexible, easy-to-use tools that support their growth and drive profitability — positioning them for whatever comes next."
Qu is the restaurant technology company evolving POS, responsibly, for a more sustainable future. With the industry’s first unified commerce platform, Qu’s fully integrated products go beyond fragmented ordering and tech experiences to create healthier connections for restaurant operating teams and their many stakeholders.
