Pokeworks reported record-breaking performance for 2025, driven by an 18% expansion of its store system and the highest guest satisfaction ratings in the company's history.
The Irvine-based company announced Monday that unparalleled year-over-year sales and increased transaction counts defined the past year. The brand maintains an average 4.8-star rating on Google Reviews, making it the most reviewed and highest-rated poke chain in the U.S.
Peter Yang, co-founder and head of development, attributed the milestone year to a "disciplined and intentional" growth strategy.
"2025 was a defining year for Pokeworks," Yang said in a company press release. "Our success is rooted in listening to our guests, supporting our franchisees and building a brand that's both operationally strong and emotionally connected to its community."
The 18% system growth included several major multi-unit franchise deals across the U.S. and Canada. To bolster these partnerships, the company hosted its inaugural Pokeworks Conference in Irvine, bringing together leadership and franchise owners to align on operational excellence.
Beyond physical expansion, the brand introduced several initiatives in 2025 aimed at increasing customer loyalty and diversifying revenue streams:
Looking toward the remainder of 2026, Pokeworks officials said the company will target further expansion in the Midwest, California, Florida and New York.
Ha Ly, head of marketing, said the brand intends to build on its current momentum by expanding its catering support team and rolling out limited-time menu offerings.
Founded in 2015, Pokeworks has grown significantly by marketizing its "Poke Your Way" customization model, which allows for more than 50,000 combinations to accommodate vegan, gluten-free and other specialized diets.
