Pokeworks is opening its second Southern California restaurant next month in Laguna Niguel, and to celebrate, the chain is hosting a grand opening event from 11 a.m to 9 p.m. on April 4. Local owner Kevin Divel of Dana Point is planning a festive "taste of the islands" celebration with a BOGO on any Pokeworks bowl per guest, leis for every guest, Hawaiian mocktails and free Dole Whip tastings, according to a company press release. Additionally, Divel will donate a portion of the proceeds from the grand opening to Dana Point Youth Baseball.
Founded in 2015, in Midtown Manhattan, Pokeworks has 50 locations open and more than 100 projected to open by the end of 2020.
