Hawaiian poke concept Pokeatery will open its first East Coast store on Saturday, Jan. 12 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pokeatery operates three locations in California and one in Texas, according to a press release.The new site is located at 210 E. Trade St., Suite B226 in Charlotte (on the second level of the EpiCentre).
A grand opening event will be held on Saturday, with the first 100 guests receiving a free poké box, souvenir and a voucher for their next visit. As part of the festivities, diners will also enjoy buy-one-get-one free boxes until closing.
"Charlotte is the perfect fit for Pokeatery's delicious blend of fresh, bold Hawaiian flavors," said North Carolina franchisee Lee Sheetrit in the release. "We're welcoming Charlotte guests to experience the fun, unique experience of building their own poké box and try refreshing favorites like the Dole Whip float at our first east coast location."
Pokeatery was founded in 2015 by husband and wife duo, Derek and Joann Chung.
