After opening its first location in the UK last month, Italy-based Poke House has added restaurants in London's Spitalfields, Victoria, Canary Wharf and Bloomberg Arcade. Plans call for 15 units in the capital with 65 across the UK allowing Brits to experience Poke House's Californian soul and Hawaiian taste, according to a company press release.
Each of the four London houses transport guests to California for an endless Summer, courtesy of a multisensory experience. Every Instagrammable UK House is filled with Cali-House music, exotic pastel décor, San Diego art, cacti, LA street art and neon lights.
In true Cali-style, Poke House offers an all-day option for everyone from early risers wanting to kick start the day with good vibes to those who want to chill out post-work with a drink, according to the company.
Offerings include Sunny Salmon, Spicy Tuna and the Vegan Bowl. The chain's dressings are created in-house, and each bowl is made with fresh ingredients delivered daily from local and trusted suppliers.
Poke House takes inspiration from each house location and community by creating a unique logo that represents the area's heritage. For example, with Canary Wharf being one of the world's busiest shipping ports in the 18th century, the Canary Wharf house sees the Poke House fish donning a traditional top hat, while at Spitalfields House, it rocks a handlebar mustache, a nod to trendy Spitalfields market dating back to 1689.
Famous for its theatres and travel connections, the Victoria House logo features the Victoria coach house, and at Bloomberg Arcade the neon art represents the rapid change of the stock exchange within the Bloomberg district, according to the release.
Friends Matteo Pichi and Vittoria Zanetti created Poke House in 2018, and it now has 55 units.
