Planet Smoothie seeks Florida franchisees

The company is looking for franchise partners to expand in the six Orlando areas, as well as Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Ocala and Lakeland.

Planet Smoothie, which already has 28 locations in Central Florida, is looking for franchisees to open eight more in the next three years.

Jason Mann, who owns three area stores and helps support the other 25, said the company is looking for franchise partners to expand in the six Orlando areas (downtown, on International Drive, at Florida Mall, Kissimmee, Celebration and Clermont), as well as Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Ocala and Lakeland.

"You don't need tremendous inventory, and it is a simple concept to operate -- especially for someone without restaurant experience," he said in a company press release.
