PizzaRev has closed all but two of its stores in Los Angeles County, California, according to a report in the Los Angeles Daily News, but has not officially commented on the closures. The brand is based in Southern California, and the Daily News reported that the closures were due to "financial fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic."
PizzaRev has not responded to several requests for comment but the Daily News story said that it had responded to an Instagram user, who expressed sadness over the closures. The brand's response was: "We are bummed about it as well. Definitely a hard decision. We appreciate the support." This website was not able to locate that post, however.
The story also said closures in Thousand Oaks, Burbank, Glendale, Studio City, Northridge, Woodland Hills, Van Nuys and Valencia, California were permanent.
According to the PizzaRev website, 17 locations remain open, including 13 in the U.S. and four in Mexico. The brand's U.S. locations are mostly in California, but also include four locations in the states of Louisiana, New York, South Dakota and Virginia. The brand was founded eight years ago.
