PizzaRev made its Las Vegas market debut Thursday with the grand opening of a restaurant at 1381 W. Sunset Road, in Henderson, Nevada. This is the first of three planned locations for Las Vegas, with a second restaurant soon to follow at the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Badura Avenue, according to a company press release.
PizzaRev Henderson and the subsequent Las Vegas locations are owned and operated by local franchise partners Tom McDonald and Steve Keith. Their group currently operates 45 Burger King restaurants throughout Las Vegas as well as 10 Panera Bread restaurants across Orange County, California.
The grand opening of the new Henderson restaurant included a "Pizzas for a Purpose" fundraising event to benefit After-School All-Stars, a local non-profit providing opportunities for underprivileged youth to participate in free after-school and summer programs that focus on academics, athletics and cultural enrichment, the release stated. PizzaRev guests were invited to "pay-what-they-want" for a custom-built, personal-sized pizza, with a suggested $8 contribution to benefit the local organization.
"We’re long-time supporters of After-School All-Stars and the work they do to positively impact the lives of thousands of children throughout greater Las Vegas," Keith said. "We look forward to supporting the mission of After-School All-Stars and introducing Las Vegas to the PizzaRev-olution!"
