PizzaRev opens 1st Virginia store Friday

Los Angeles-based PizzaRev will open its first Virginia store Friday, this one located in Virginia Beach. And though the store will only offer delivery and takeout at this time, it is making it worth patron's time to order Friday, by giving the first 1,000 people to join its rewards club a free pie, a news release said. 

To qualify for the free pizza, customers must select "Virginia Beach" as their favorite location on the app. The Virginia Beach Boulevard restaurant is also the first to feature the company's revamped restaurant design, which will soon roll out systemwide.  

The company said it expects that it will be open for dine-in soon, when stay-at-home orders lift in Virginia. That's why it's postponing the Virginia Beach store's grand opening celebration to a later unspecified date. 

The 8-year-old brand is based in Los Angeles and its 17 stores stores feature stone-bed ovens deemed ideal for the creation of Roman-style pizza. The brand has locations in 5 states and Mexico.
