Pizza Studio continues SoCal expansion

Pizza Studio is opening its 26th store today, located in Compton, California's Gateway Towne Center. Compton city officials will be on hand for an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

The opening marks the third Pizza Studio for franchisee Neal Perlmutter, who plans to open an additional seven locations in Southern California.

"We are thrilled to be a part of Compton's prized neighborhood and Towne Center. We hope to be a restaurant and dining staple for families, community organizations, and surrounding businesses," Perlmutter said in a news release.

Pizza Studio's Mission Viejo, California, location also opened this week and will offer free pizzas to all walk-in customers on Dec. 22 from 12-8 p.m.
