Pieology selects former California Pizza Kitchen exec as VP

Richard Pineda is now vice president of supply chain, and Hans Milberger is director of construction.

Fast casual concept Pieology Pizzeria announced two new appointments to its management team. Richard Pineda is now vice president of supply chain, and Hans Milberger is director of construction.

"Our two new executives will play an instrumental role in the sustained growth and success of the company as we continue market entry across the U.S.," said Carl Chang, founder and CEO in a release. "With more than 50 years of combined experience, I'm confident Pineda and Milberger will ensure our expansion plans are well-executed so we may focus on further elevating the guest experience."

Pineda has more than three decades experience in foodservice, working with brands such as California Pizza Kitchen and El Pollo Loco. Milberger, responsible for the design and development of Pieology restaurants, brings more than 20 years' experience in construction management of retail, corporate office, health care and government segments.
