Pieology Pizzeria has opened its first Hawaii location.

Pieology Pizzeria has opened its first Hawaii location, according to a company press release. The restaurant is located at 820 West Hind Dr., in Aina Haina in Honolulu. Pieology Aina Haina is the first of 20 statewide locations operated by California-based Cotti Foods, which has secured the exclusive franchise rights to open Pieology restaurants throughout Hawaii and select areas of California.

"With the custom pizza segment continuing to heat up, we definitely did our homework in determining which concept best met our needs. The Pieology Hawaii locations will offer regional ingredients and a menu that has been developed exclusively for Hawaii, the release stated. The dining experience starts with choosing a crust, including a gluten-free option, then going down the line to select a sauce (House Red, 3-Cheese Alfredo, Herb Butter, Olive Oil, Fiery Buffalo, Pesto, and BBQ). There five cheese choices and seven meat toppings, including local favorites such as Portuguese Sausage, Spam and Kalua Pork. Gues then stack their toppings (Black Olives, Mushrooms, Red Onions, Green Peppers, Artichokes, Tomatoes, Garlic, Pineapple, Jalapenos, Corn, Kalamata Olives, Fresh Cilantro, Spinach, Banana Peppers, Fresh Basil, Roasted Red Peppers). Pieology also serves salads, soft drinks and Herb Butter or sweet Cinnamon Sugar Strips, and Pieology Aina Haina serves beer and wine.
The restaurant offers dine-in seating for up to 52 guests and is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
