Pieology Pizzeria will soon open in Charlotte, North Carolina's EpiCentre, a retail complex that consists of three floors of dining, bars and entertainment options.

The chain recently signed a lease for a 2,500-square-foot space to open in the third quarter of 2016, Adam Williams, of Legacy Real Estate Advisors, told the Charlotte Business Journal.

"Pieology is kind of the market leader in the fast casual pizza segment," Williams said. "I think people are going to love their product."

The chain opened in 2011 in California and plans to have 110 restaurants by the end of this year, with commitments for 500 to come.
