As Pie Five Pizza begins opening dining rooms nationwide, it has instituted a series of new practices to keep customers safe inside restaurants, a news release said.

Some of the key operational modifications include:
•    Employee masks and gloves during shifts.
•    Employee handwashing at 30-minute intervals, plus ongoing handwashing and on-the-job sanitizing.
•    Installation of hand sanitizing stations at entrances and other restaurant areas.
•    Capacity reductions and table reconfigurations to further social distancing.
•    Floor decals to mark spacing in lines.
•    Drink stations closed, but bottled drinks available.
•    Relocation of in-store "communal touch points" to back of house.
•    Condiments, napkins, rolled silverware and other guest needs formerly kept on tables now dispensed to each guest.
•    Switch to boxes over trays for dine-in orders.
•    Individually packaged sanitizer wipes provided with each order.

"At Pie Five, we care deeply about our guests and team members, so each of these new operational procedures were created with their health and safety top of mind," said Director of Operations Aaron Archuleta in the release. "Our locations in Texas have been experiencing a steady increase in sales, so we know that guests are thrilled that we're back serving guests with the same high-quality and variety of handcrafted pizza that they've come to expect from Pie Five."

The brand is also providing customers with incentives to order by offering craft personal pizzas for $5 and large two-toppers for $9.99. Guests can also add $5 or $10 on to any order to feed local essential workers.

Pie Five is the sister brand to Pizza Inn under parent company, Rave Restaurant Group. Jointly the two brands have more than 200 locations worldwide.
