Pie Five to open Kansas, Texas locations

Pie Five Pizza is on the move with locations set to open in Kansas and Texas.

Pie Five Pizza has announced it will open stores in Leawood, Kansas, and Euless, Texas.

The Leawood store will be the seventh for KC Pie LLC, and will be located at 11725 Roe Ave., on the corner of 119th and Roe, according to a company press release.

"Pie Five is setting a new standard for pizza quality and service in the fast casual segment," said local franchise partner Kevin Goebelofm of KC Pie LLC. "At Pie Five, guests can you create their own perfect, individualized pizza with all the fresh, high-quality ingredients they love and have it baked-to-order in less than five minutes, for one great price. It's no wonder the concept has taken off in Kansas, and from coast to coast."

KC Pie has donated over $68,000 to Children's Mercy Hospitals, the release stated. Children's Mercy relies on philanthropy to provide the highest level of care to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. Proceeds have been raised at grand opening events and Mercy Mondays, where 5 percent of all sales from each location are donated back to the hospital. The Kansas City locations are also partnering with the Children's Mercy Hospitals for team building and uniting activities that will help benefit patients and families during their hospital stay.

The Euless store will be located at 2921 SH 121 in the Glade Parks shopping center. This will be the 17th Pie Five Pizza in the North Texas area, the release stated

"North Texas is going crazy for our made-to-order artisan pizzas," Rave Restaurant Group Chief Eating Officer Randy Grier said. "We love bringing more of our fresh toppings and handcrafted dough choices to our home market and we aren't done yet!"

On opening day, Pie Five will present the PTSA chapters of Grapevine High School and Colleyville Heritage High School with a check for 50 percent of the proceeds earned during pre-opening events, the release stated. In addition, to celebrate the opening of the Euless location, all pizzas will be $5 from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at every Dallas-Ft. Worth location.
