Pie Five Pizza announced that HCW Development will open units in Missouri, New Mexico and Arizona.

The pizza business is heating up for Dallas-based Pie Five Pizza, according to a recent press release announcing that the fast casual chain has signed a development deal with HCW Development. HCW Development CEO Rich Huffman and franchise partner Sam Catanese will open 25 locations in Tucson; Branson and Springfield, Missouri and Albuquerque. Huffman andCatanese own several restaurants, hotels, and developments in Branson and Phoenix, according to the release.
This announcement followed a wave of multi-unit deals made by Pie Five Pizza toexpand its franchise to locations in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Maryland,Delaware, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Colorado, Kentucky, Indiana, Alabama andMississippi. According to the report, Pie Five Pizza has grown from one to 55 unitsin less than four years, and its growth rate for the past fiscal year reached nearly200 percent. A subsidiary of RAVE Restaurant Group, Inc., Pie Five currently haslocations in 16 states.
