Pie Five opens first Jackson location

Pie Five is donating 50 percent of proceeds earned during pre-opening events of its first Jackson, Mississippi, location to the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Pie Five Pizza announced the opening of its first Jackson, Mississippi, location today. The store is located at 96 Laurel Park Drive in Flowood, according to a company press release.

Fred Gustin and Kurt Guttshall of Slice of the Pie LLC have 25 additional locations planned throughout Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. They opened their first Mississippi location in Biloxi at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino earlier this year, with another coming to Clinton next year, the release stated.

"Pie Five offers the perfect combination of fresh, fast and affordable options for every crowd," said Guttshall, Pie Five local franchise partner. "We are confident Pie Five will be a big hit in the area!"
