Pie Five hits Mississippi

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi this week is opening a Pie Five Pizza Co. unit, which is Mississippi's first Pie Five.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi this week is opening a Pie Five Pizza Co. unit, which is Mississippi’s first Pie Five location.

"We are thrilled to bring fast casual pizza to the Gulf Coast and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino," said Randy Gier, president and CEO of Rave Restaurant Group, parent company of Pie Five Pizza Co. "We can't wait to show guests that artisanal, quality pizza can be served fast — 145 seconds to be exact."

Fred Gustin and Kurt Guttshall of Quality Restaurant Concepts are bringing the distinctive Pie Five experience to guests at Hard Rock Biloxi. They have at least 25 additional locations planned throughout Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. 

"We are extremely excited to partner with the Hard Rock Team," Guttshall said. "The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is a very cool and dynamic resort that, much like Pie Five, caters to guests of all ages."
