Pie Five celebrates 50th opening

Pie Five Pizza is opening its 50th location at the corner of Governor Ritchie Highway and Ordnance Road in Baltimore.

Pie Five Pizza is opening its 50th location Friday at the corner of Governor Ritchie Highway and Ordnance Road in Baltimore. . Doors open at 11a.m. This will be the second location for local franchise owner, Jeff Mengel, and the fourth location in Maryland, the company said in an announcement. Mengel will donate half of all proceeds from the week's preopening events to The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland. 

"Pie Five is on fire in the Baltimore area," said Mengel in a statement. "Our pizza fans love eating our handcrafted, personalized pizzas using only the freshest ingredients, baked to order at one great price. The 'five' in Pie Five means it all happens in five minutes or less!"
