Pie Face opening in Chelsea

Pie Face, Manhattan's Aussie pie shop, will expand its 24-hour menu to 129 W. 23rd St., Monday.

Following the 9th Avenue opening in early August, the new Chelsea shop brings the pie party toward downtown's late-night crowd, according to a company press release. Between 6th and 7th Avenues, the new location, with a modern and playful interior, will offer the classic Pie Face menu, including pastries, sandwiches, and, of course, pies such as Chunky Steak, Chicken and Mushroom, Tandoori Vegetable and more, according to a company press release.

Sweets like the Mini Pecan Pie and Mini Apple Crumble Pie are also available. At the self-serve coffee station, customers may grab a Pie Face signature espresso blend like the Strong Hard Blend, called Kick My Arse — or a cup of the Soft Blend, called Open My Eyes. With drip coffee blends ranging from Hard to Soft, there's something to suit everyone's caffeine style, according to the company release.
