People for the Ethical Treatment of Animcals announced its list of the Top Five Vegan Food Trucks.
The PETA list includes:
Seed on the Go—owned by Jerri Hastey, mother to longtime vegan actor Jessica Chastain—in California's Sonoma County, offering items such as Chia Tapioca Parfait;
Detroit's Shimmy Shack, known for its classic American lentil burger;
Louisville, Kentucky's V-Grits, with its vegan version of a Hot Brown Melt, an iconic local dish;
Gmonkey Mobile in Connecticut, with its Feisty Monkey Peanut Soba Noodles served over a bed of greens and topped with cilantro house dressing; and
BBQ Revolution, which dishes up an authentic Texan BBQ in Austin, according to the announcement.
