Penn Station sets expansion plans

June 22, 2006

CINCINNATI — Penn Station East Coast Subs announced an expansion plan that calls for 120 additional locations.

Development markets include major cities in North Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana and Michigan.

"When we look at population, demographics and the eating away from home trends, these were top ranking markets for growth," said Craig Dunaway. "Many of our Midwestern markets are completely sold out, we currently have franchise operations in half of these development markets and they are geographically close to other markets where we already have restaurants."

Penn Station East Coast Subs was founded in 1985 in Cincinnati and operates 160 locations primarily in the Midwest and Southeast.
