Penn Station hires construction, real estate manager

Ohio-based Penn Station East Coast Subs, which has 300 locations, has hired Jeffrey R. Becker as manager of construction and real estate to oversee site selection and work with vendors and franchisees during the construction process.

"This is an exciting addition to our ever-evolving team, as Jeff brings valuable industry experience and knowledge to the table," Penn Station COO Craig Dunaway said in a company press release. "With Jeff in this role, we will continue to provide the best support for our franchisees throughout the process from signing to opening, so they can be successful right from the start."

Previously, Becker managed a portfolio consisting of over 4 million square feet and led all phases of the construction process from bidding and permitting to cost-saving energy retrofits.

"I'm thrilled to join the Penn Station East Coast Subs team," Becker said in the release. "I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work to help franchisees reach their potential — starting with the right location and smooth construction and development process."
