Penn Station East Coast Subs franchisee adds to portfolio

September 25, 2018

Cardinal Cheesesteaks, a franchisee of Penn Station East Coast Subs, has purchased the Elizabethtown and Radcliff Penn Station locations, bringing its total to 20 restaurants in the Louisville area, a news release said.

"We're excited to keep growing our business in Louisville," said Don Robinson, partner and managing owner of Cardinal Cheesesteaks in the release. "Buying the Elizabethtown and Radcliff restaurants expands our territory to the outskirts of Louisville, and we're happy to keep providing great food to the people in Elizabethtown and Radcliff."

Cardinal Cheesesteaks owns 20 of the 23 Penn Station restaurants in the Louisville area.

"This acquisition makes Cardinal Cheesesteaks one of the largest franchisees in the entire Penn Station system," said Penn Station President Craig Dunaway in the release. "Don and his team are doing a great job of serving Louisville residents and expanding the Penn Station brand in the area."
