Penn Station East Coast Subs is offering a Chicken Artichoke sandwich for the first time throughout the month of November. The sandwich features fresh-grilled, all-white meat chicken, artichoke hearts, provolone cheese, oregano, parmesan, mayonnaise and the option of fresh mushrooms served on Penn Station's fresh-baked bread, according to a company press release. The new sandwich is available with an order of small fresh-cut fries and a regular beverage at all 267 locations nationwide.
"The Grilled Artichoke sandwich is already a customer favorite on our menu and with the addition of grilled chicken, we know the new Chicken Artichoke sandwich will be a huge hit," said Craig Dunaway, president of Penn Station Inc. "It really has broad customer appeal, and will attract both men and women thanks to its flavor combination. It's also completely unique to us; no one else is doing this kind of sandwich."
Penn Station has more than 260 restaurants in 13 states including Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. The company anticipates the opening of 45 units in 2014. All but one location is franchised.
