Pastrami Queen creates plant-based sandwich

In its food hall Hall location in New York City, Pastrami Queen is now serving "The Prince powered by Chunk," a combination of Chunk's plant-based Slab prepared as pastrami, New York deli mustard, rye bread and a pickle.

"We're thrilled about this partnership with Pastrami Queen, a beloved NYC institution," Amos Golan, founder and CEO of Chunk Foods, said in a company press release. "We can't wait for New Yorkers to try this innovative and exclusive menu item."

Eric Newman, manager at Pastrami Queen, said the offering bridges the gap between the past and the future of food with the intersection of traditional Jewish deli cuisine with modern plant-based options, contributing to the dynamic and diverse food scene in NYC and local food culture.
