Paris Baguette, a French-inspired bakery cafe franchise, has promoted Nick Scaccio to chief development officer. Scaccio, who previously served as the brand's chief operating officer, will now lead the company's expansion efforts to reach 1,000 cafes across North America by 2030.
Scaccio brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience and has been a key player in Paris Baguette's growth since joining in 2020, when the company had fewer than 75 cafes in the U.S. His operational expertise has contributed to 16 consecutive quarters of positive comparable store traffic for the brand.
"I've been committed to building systems that scale while maintaining our unwavering commitment to quality and community since I joined Paris Baguette," Scaccio said in a company press release. "As I step into the development role, I'm focused on how we can continue our growth with intention, ensuring that every new cafe delivers the magical guest experience people visit Paris Baguette for."
The promotion comes amid significant growth for Paris Baguette. In the first quarter of this year, the company awarded 76 franchises, signed 20 leases and opened 15 cafes, placing it on track to open 100 total cafes before the end of the year.
Paris Baguette has over 4,000 units globally. The brand first began franchising in the U.S. in 2015 and now has over 225 locations across North America.
