Paris Baguette, based in South Korea, is opening six units by year's end across New York City, taking it one step closer to meeting its 2019 goalof increasing its U.S. cafe count by 50%, according to a company press release.
"We are growing at a rapid pace and this milestone moment helps to increase our brand's awareness in the U.S., while still providing the high-end quality, consistency and authenticity we are known for across the globe," CEO Jack F. Moran, said in the release.
Founded in 1988, Paris Baguette serves croissants, cakes and pastries, salads and sandwiches from 3,500 locations in South Korea, China, Singapore, Vietnam, France and the United States, where it has nearly 80 units.
In an effort to fuel growth, the chain recently launched the Paris Baguette Rewards app, where customers collect points with every purchase and receive special offers. The app is available for download on all smartphones through Apple App and Google Play Stores.
