Panera president resigns

ST. LOUIS — Panera Bread Company has announced the resignation of president Neal Yanofsky, effective Jan. 4, 2008. Yanofsky is leaving the company to pursue other career opportunities, according to a news release.
As president, Yanofsky provided oversight of Panera's information services, legal, human resources, business development, finance, accounting and supply chain functions. He has been with the company four years.
Yanofsky's duties will be split between chairman and CEO Ron Shaich, executive vice president John Maguire and senior vice president and chief financial officer Jeff Kip.
