Eduardo Luz has joined Panera Bread as chief brand and concept officer and will be overseeing marketing, digital, strategy/insights and culinary teams, according to a Panera spokesperson.
"I have been a long-time admirer of the Panera brand — it's a huge positive force for the food industry, from its mission to its leadership in clean food and commitment to making great food accessible to all," said Luz, who was the former U.S. chief marketing officer for Kraft Heinz, but most recently served as the CEO of 8Greens, a health supplement company.
The Panera family is excited to welcome Luz, Panera CEO Niren Chaudhary said via email.
