Panera asks customers to leave firearms outside

Panera is asking customers not to bring firearms into any of its stores.

September 8, 2014

USA Today reports that Panera is asking customers not to bring firearms into any of its stores.

The move comes following "months of discussions," according to advocacy group Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.

Panera said it respects the rights of gun owners, but asks that only authorized law enforcement officers carry guns inside its stores.
