Panda Express opening latest unit in Idaho

Panda Express is opening its newest unit Sept.15, in Rexburg, Idaho, giving 20 percent of launch day proceeds to the Grand Teton Council Boy Scouts of Rexburg, according to a company press release.

Looking to become further engrained in the Rexburg community, the family-owned business will also participate in "Run to Break the Chain," following its launch day. The fundraiser will support Operation Underground Railroad, an organization which helps to liberate children enslaved in the sex slave industry.

"We're thrilled to begin serving the area of Rexburg and becoming an integral part of the community," Roberto Esparza, area coach of operation, said in the release. "We look forward to serving guests our delicious American Chinese menu and introducing Rexburg residents to our strong family values."
