Panasonic intros Stingray POS

ATLANTA — Panasonic Information Systems has announced the introduction of itsStingray POS Workstation.
Stingray's open architecture can run virtually any operating system and software, and multiple software applications. Stingray is backwards compatible, allowing operators to replace one workstation at a time and comes in 15-inch or 12-inch dual back-lit LCD adjustable displays available with touchscreen technology.
Stingray can be configured with a magnetic-card reader that can be mounted in two different positions, supporting the allow acceptance of credit, debit, gift, loyalty, and crew cards. Users can integrate Stingray with security solutions such as fingerprint or biometric readers and Dallas key systems for operator ID verification. It alsohas the capability to integrate hand-held functionality.
