November 24, 2020

Known for its Italian-style artisanal gelato, Paciugo Gelato Caffe is now offering handmade cocoa bombs that melt and release cocoa and marshmallows when hot milk is poured over them, according to a company press release.

The 45-unit chain is serving the bombs in two flavors — Marshmallow Cocoa and Peppermint Cocoa, which features candy cane pieces.

"At Paciugo, we aim to share the tastes of Italy with our customers through our authentic fresh Italian gelato, and we are very excited to jump on this trend and expand our offerings with our new gourmet Cocoa Bombs, which we hope will bring a lot of delight this holiday season," Hala Habal, chief communications officer for Paciugo Gelato Caffe's parent company, Sinelli Concepts International, in the release. "Just like our irresistible gelato, our Cocoa Bombs are made fresh by hand to provide guests with an experience they can enjoy themselves or easily gift to family and friends by ordering online."

Paciugo's Cocoa Bombs retail for $28 for a pack of four or $48 for a pack of eight. Paciugo also offers pint gift boxes of its gelato in the stores or at shop.paciugo.com

Dallas-based Paciugo Gelato Caffe was founded in 2000 and was acquired by Sinelli Concepts International in 2017. Sinelli Concepts operates more than 500 restaurants, including Which Wich, in the U.S. and in more than a dozen countries.
