Founded in 2001 by Sam Osmow, who immigrated to Canada from Egypt, the chain has grown to over 220 locations across North America. The brand is known for blending Egyptian culinary roots with North American palate preferences, offering items like shawarma plates, wraps and customizable bowls.
The North Brunswick location is operated by franchisee Shaheen Group Inc.

"This opening is just the start as we look forward to expanding throughout New Jersey and sharing our bold flavors with even more communities."
Ben Osmow, the company's CEO and head of franchise operations, said the expansion into New Jersey is a significant step in the brand's growth strategy.
"We're proud to partner with franchisees like Shaheen Group Inc., who share our passion for quality, community and exceptional food," he said.
