Original Hot Chicken making debut in Georgia

There is a new player in the Nashville hot chicken market — Original Hot Chicken. The brand is opening next week in Woodstock, Georgia, under the direction of Experiential Brands, according to a company press release.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Original Hot Chicken is hosting a party Jan. 28, where customers can watch professional eater Joey Chestnut take down mac 'n' cheese for five minutes straight. The event will also include a live DJ, swag bags for the first 50 guests, a chicken dance contest with a $200 gift card for the winner, a live art installation from artist Roodoodles, and free food samples featuring the restaurant's chicken doused in various levels of hot sauce.
Experiential Brands is part of NRD Capital, which owns Frisch's Big Boy and soldFuzzy's Taco Shop to Dine Brands last month for $80 million. NRD also owns several restaurant technology platforms, including 1Huddleand Qu.
