Organic to Go makes third acquisition

SEATTLE — Organic To Go has announced it has purchased Simon's Gourmet Sandwiches in San Diego, marking the company's third area acquisition.
The expansion brings the company's total cafés in San Diego County to five, with one café in La Jolla and four downtown, as well as O to Go kiosks on campus at the University of San Diego and San Diego State. The company now has 21 cafés in its briskly growing West Coast roster.
The Simon's Gourmet Sandwiches locations will be changed to Organic To Go branded operations. The Organic To Go menu is expected to be ready for retail and delivery service by winter.
