Organic Burger to develop units in San Diego

Elevation Burger has signed its second California multiunit franchising deal with San Diegan entrepreneurs Ron Weinberg and Atul Jain. The franchise partners are currently scouting for locations in San Diego County, and anticipate opening their first location in early 2011.

The announcement follows an April of 2010, agreement for three units in Los Angeles. Additionally, eight-unit Elevation Burger expects to have a total of 15 restaurants (three company-owned) operating by the end of 2010.

Fransmart, the company that helped launch Five Guys Burgers & Fries, is leading the franchise development plans for Elevation Burger.
