Orange Leaf, NBA player honoring moms with free fro-yo

Orange Leaf and an NBA player are honoring moms with free fro-yo

April 29, 2015

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt has partnered with Kevin Durant, MVP of the National Basketball Association and forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder, to give moms a cup of free frozen yogurt on Mother's Day, May 10.

"Working with Orange Leaf on this initiative has been a great experience for me, especially because it was something special I got to share with my mom," Durant said in a company press release. "My mom's done so much for me in my life that I am glad I get to thank her again publicly on Mother's Day through my partnership with Orange Leaf'."

Orange Leaf customers can choose from their local store's customer-driven selection of 16 flavors, including last summer's sellout favorite, Dairy Free Pink Lemonade, as well as no-sugar-added, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan alternatives. Pink Lemonade is a limited-time-only flavor featured in more than 300 participating Orange Leaf locations now through May 31, according to the release.

"Moms make lives better and are some of Orange Leaf's biggest fans," said Geoff Goodman, president of Orange Leaf. "We want to play a part in honoring them for all that they do."
